Every session is carefully planned and led by Unashe Gwaze, a qualified Level 3 Forest School Practitioner, to create conditions where children and adults can flourish — physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
All sessions are fully risk-assessed, practitioner-led, and equipped with all necessary tools and materials. Sessions run across Hong Kong in natural outdoor settings.

5 hours of deep nature immersion

Every session is shaped by four guiding principles that reflect Rooted's commitment to child-centred, faith-integrated outdoor education.
Sessions follow children's interests, allowing curiosity and play to guide discoveries. We create the conditions for learning — children lead the way.
Repeated, long-term exposure to the natural environment supports confidence, motor skills, practical problem solving, and emotional regulation.
Short, age-appropriate moments woven into each session encourage wonder, gratitude, and reflection on biblical themes — creation, stewardship, compassion, and community.
Activities are designed and guided by a highly trained practitioner with broad local and international outdoor education experience spanning over 15 years.
Please come prepared for an active outdoor session. Hong Kong's climate and terrain require a little extra preparation to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.
